Provisional Itinerary

This trip isn’t just a few rounds overseas, it’s a proper adventure through two of the most fascinating countries in Asia, with me guiding the way. I’ve already been to Hong Kong and Macau, visited the sights, worked out the logistics, and built the connections to make this all run smoothly. The golf is world-class with amazing views and hard to organise on your own, but I’ve done it. You’ll get to experience some of the best views, attractions, and culture these places have to offer, without having to worry about a thing. Just show up, play golf, explore, and enjoy.

Day 1 – Sunday, Nov 30
Arrival in Hong Kong
Arrive in style on the evening Qantas flight into Hong Kong International Airport. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred straight to your luxury 5-star hotel. Settle in, relax, and get ready — the adventure begins tomorrow.

Day 2 – Monday, Dec 1
Walking Tour & Welcome to Hong Kong
We’ll ease into the city with a guided walking tour hosted by a Hong Kong local. It’s the perfect way to get your bearings, stretch the legs, and hear some fascinating local history. You’ll get a feel for how the city works and where everything is. I’ll also be with you the whole time to answer questions and give you tips for the days ahead.

Day 3 – Tuesday, Dec 2
Golf at Kau Sai Chau – North Course (Walking Only)
We’ll head to the scenic eastern edge of Hong Kong, then take a private ferry to one of Asia’s most spectacular golfing locations — the Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau North Course, designed by the legendary Gary Player. It’s walking only, so moderate fitness is required, but it’s absolutely worth it. The course winds along dramatic coastlines with views of the South China Sea and Sai Kung — one of the most picturesque rounds you’ll ever play. I’ll be walking with the group, offering mental game tips, warm-up routines, and help with course strategy.

Day 4 – Wednesday, Dec 3
Free Morning + Happy Valley Night Racing
Spend the morning exploring at your own pace. This is a great time to get into the local culture — from bustling street markets to hidden temples or boutique shops. I can guide you to a few great spots or you can head out solo.
That evening, we’ll head to the iconic Happy Valley Racecourse. We’ll take a tram and ferry to get there, soak up the electric atmosphere, and enjoy the food, drink, and racing action. This is one of Hong Kong’s must-do experiences.

Day 5 – Thursday, Dec 4
Golf at Kau Sai Chau – East Course (Cart Course)
Back to Kau Sai Chau — this time to play the East Course, which many consider the most visually spectacular of all. Sweeping views of the sea from nearly every hole, plus electric carts (an international driver’s licence may be required, so bring it just in case). It’s a totally different feel to the North Course, but every bit as memorable. Again, I’ll be alongside to offer course tips and help you get the most out of your round.

Day 6 – Friday, Dec 5
Transfer to Macau + 360° Views at Macau Tower
We’ll take a scenic ferry ride to Macau, about 60km away across the Pearl River Delta. After checking in, we’ll head to Macau Tower for incredible 360-degree views across the city and southern China. We’ll enjoy a selection of desserts and unlimited drinks while we take in the sights — the perfect way to kick off the Macau leg of the trip.

Day 7 – Saturday, Dec 6
Free Day in Macau
Macau is a mix of old-world charm and modern spectacle. You’ll have the option to explore it your way or stick with me for a more guided day. We’ll visit the ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral, wander the small historic laneways, browse local markets, and even check out the resident panda at panda pavilion. It’s a great day to go at your own pace and soak it all in.

Day 8 – Sunday, Dec 7
Golf at Caesars Golf Macau + Nightlife Optional
Our final round will be at Caesars Golf Macau, a championship-level course offering a quality test in a unique setting. After the round, you’ll have the chance to experience Macau’s nightlife if you’re up for it — this place is the gambling capital of Asia, but much cleaner and more relaxed than Vegas. Whether it’s a quiet drink or a night at the tables, I’ll help you find the right spot to cap off the week.

Day 9 – Monday, Dec 8
Big Buddha & Departure
We’ll catch the ferry back to Hong Kong, drop luggage at the airport, then take the gondola up to the famous Big Buddha and surrounding temples. It’s the perfect final stop before heading to the airport for your evening Qantas flight home.

Why Come With Me?
When I first visited Hong Kong and Macau, it was the cultural side of the trip that really stuck with me. Wandering through old laneways, taking in the views from the Peak, riding the tram to the Happy Valley races, it's like there’s this constant feeling of contrast and energy that makes it such an exciting place to explore. I didn’t play golf last time, but I knew straight away how incredible it would be to combine that experience with proper world-class golf. So I’ve gone back, figured out how to make it all happen, and built a trip that brings both sides together — great golf, rich culture, and a chance to see a part of the world that most golfers will never experience like this.
